I see no gear reviews for these. I'm partial to Chacos rather than Keens when i'm in/near the water for a variety of reasons, with one exception - i like the Keen toe when i'm using the canoe because it does a better job protecting my toe.

the Aqua Guide appears to solve my primary gripes about Keens - they take a while to dry out because they are a semi-closed shoe, and as a result, they tend to get stinky. This one has a strap across the top but is basically open, and the toe has some small holes - better drainage, and hopefully more air means they dry better.

anyone try these?

I WISH....maybe I can get a pair soon.

I have worn out my two pairs of aquatic shoes, but your right, the toes can take a real beating. That's something I didn't realize until I started canoeing and stuff in bare feet, or minimal footwear.

I love flip flops & sandals, but a little more protection would be nice.
