This past Saturday we headed out for our first kayak of the season.  Mild air temps belied the freezing water underneath.  We put in at Morley dam in Morley, MI, and headed upstream on the Little Muskegon river.  I only shot photos for half the paddle since the return trip offered some serious buffeting wind that sent any water falling off our paddle blades straight back into your face and kicked the waves up quite nicely.

Great little float.  Can't wait to get back out this weekend.  I think we may try heading downstream from Morley Dam to Long Road.

2011 Tsunami 125, got a year end close out deal on mine and my wife's (I think hers is the 120).  650 a pop (reduced from $999) plus 2 pair of really nice carbon fiber paddles 50% off.  Still an expensive trip, but we held out for a while.  Sometimes you just gotta drop the cash and no looking back!
