Last night at home I was hungry and had little in the cupboard to eat but Bisquick and hot chocolate mix. (in between shopping days).

I mixed the Bisquick and the chocolate drink mix with water to make batter for my waffle iron and it actually came out pretty good!

Living cheaply as I do, I bought the waffle iron a month ago to make grilled cheese sandwiches with. They came out great too! Have even made waffle grilled cheese sandwiches by pouring in the batter, making the waffle then folding it over a slice of cheese and makes a pretty good sandwich.

Have also toasted my bagels in the  waffle iron. and Tortilla's too!
