Tagged size 8. Measures 43" Chest and 21.5 Length. Would this be a women's?

Also would you say this is a vintage piece? On the left arm has EXTREME embroidered.

I have the Men's version of this jacket characterized by the vinyl ski pass pocket on the left arm. I do not know the model name of this jacket, however it is from the mid to late 90's. Check behind the care tag to see if a tag with 4 rows of codes is present. You can use those to figure out what year and model it is.
