Interested in hearing from anyone who has hiked this Mt. Specifically, what is summit like in terms of views, is there a fire tower, is it climbable, and do you have to climb it to get a good view? Any input would be appreciated. Happy Autumn trails to you all!

G.R. Just found your note on Owl Head-following items of interest
-About a 6/7 mile hike
-Climbed about 4 years ago
-Top 3 blks. were very tough as a wind sheer dropped and topped many trees
-View is very good and looks back at Long Lake, no views behind you.
-Top is shield rock with substancial open areas
-By Keene is another Owl Head Mt. fun climb with lots of blueberrys, also climbed this one. Good face near top for rappeling. TV showed a group doing just that was neat to recognize the spot when program aired.
