Anyone do any good overnight hikes through the Wallowas (NE corner of Oregon)? It's on my bucket list to visit these little Alps of Oregon; I hear it has some phenomenal views. If you have done some hiking through this region let me know your thoughts and if it's worth taking a few days to explore this back country.

A great place. Wetter than people expect. There are some wonderful old growth ponderosa pine forests out there. You will not be disappointed.
