Bicycle touring partner sought (Tucson to Texas)
I am going on a bicycle tour to Big Bend and the southeast Texas coastline. I am leaving in about 2-3 weeks. I have been bike touring since 1982. I rode down here to Tucson from Jackson WY this last fall to mid-December. I ride about 50-70 miles a day but can go slower if you are new to touring. And I can teach you all I know about touring as we go. Its a great way to travel and not need to buy gasoline. I carry everything need to camp and eat on my bike. Including my backpack and boots to do day hikes and overnight trips in the places I visit along the way, like Big Bend when I get there.
