Anyone have suggestions on a good 3-5 day hike in the tri-state area? I live in New Jersey but go to school in South East PA and started hiking seriously a few months ago.

The Adirondacks in Upstate NY, are loaded with great trails, ponds, lean tos. I'm from Upstate NY and I think the Adirondacks are under appreciated and overlooked. For more info you can buy guide books buy region of the Adirondacks and National Geographic makes wonderful maps of the park. You can go to [url=http://www.adk.org]www.adk.org for more info, or I'll be glad to give you some ideas if your interested, reply or shoot me an e-mail. If you find the Adirondacks or "Dacks" to be to far for you, try the Catskills, I've personally never hiked there, but I've heard that it's not to bad. Considerable smaller and less to offer than the Adirondacks but still enjoyable. Good Luck1
