Has anyone hike any of the trails at Hawn state park near St. Genevieve Missouri? I am thinking bout heading down there next weekend to do some hiking, its close and looks fairly nice. Any advice would be great. I love hiking and am so glad i got into, we have some old abandoned railroad lines that run through the town i live in and 2 weeks ago i hiked them south which was a challenge since 1 mile was flat and open 3 miles was overgrown with weeds and trees 1 mile was a cut corn field 1 mile was in between 2 bean fields in a flooded slough and the other 2 miles were decent, then last weeken i headed south which the first 4 miles was cut cornfield and the rest was forests and weeds with a creek crossing. It was differant challenging but all in all fun, it beats walking on the road for excercise and i burn twice the calories
