Took a group up to Jasper for a long weekend last summer at the beginning of July, and had a great time. Nothing really scary, but each day had its own challenges.
One lady from Spain, two from Switzerland, one old guy from Belgium, one (annoying!) Chinese woman, a nice Iranian couple, and a few locals - welcome to my mountains!
Bald Hills Three Peaks, 17 km, 850 m cumulative elevation gain. One of my favourite hikes:

Jacques Lake Return, 26 km, 200 m. cumulative elevation gain. An easy overnighter, but a long day going both ways:

Sulphur Skyline, 9.6 km, 700 m. elevation gain. 17 Switchbacks in the last section, but worth it for the views at the top:

Thanks Ashley.
Easy to get great photos when the views all around are so spectacular! And that was just one weekend!
If you and your hubby are ever headed out this way, look us up and we'll give you a little tour of the Canadian Rockies.

peter, these photos are spectacular. Its so much fun for me to see where others are planting their feet.
I personally would love to expose myself to above treeline forays. Its been years.
Here you always have a canopy above you.
4th pic up from the bottom... Yeah, I could spend alot of time there just sitting, staring, and listening.

Thanks, everyone!
It's nice to know that other people are enjoying my little journeys, however vicariously that might be.
