Thanks for the review.  I have read some really good books about hiking the AT

 

Earl Schaefer's Walking with Spring, is the original book.  He was the first known to have hiked the entire length.  Also Ed Garvey has written a couple of inspiring books.  I will certainly add David Millers book to my reading list.
