You guys seem to enjoy looking at my photos, so I'll post this one just for the views.
Ever have one of those trip where you start having doubts about it right from the start?
Back in 2009, I took a large group to the mountains for a weekend. Unfortunately, forest fires had created enough smoke to blanket much of the the province. The drive up there wasn't too promising, and even the next morning the trailhead was under the smoke.
Still a few things to look at...
Then, at the first lookout, like Moses parting the Red Sea, the clouds parted...
...and opened up to reveal the views.
From then on, the hikes were spectacular.
and down to the trailhead...
at Maligne Lake. 
By the next day, everything was back to normal, so we did another hike.
It turned out to be a nice weekend after all.
