Went for a little walk (16 km) this weekend, and went from nice autumn weather on Friday to winter on Saturday morning. Fortunately the forecast for 8 cm (3.5") of snow didn't materialize.

By afternoon, the temperature had risen above freezing and the snow had started fading away, but it was a good reminder to get out the winter gear and start buying the stuff you're going to need very soon.

And it made for a few different photos.

Nice. Except for the Halloween blizzard, we got passed over for Winter last year, so I'm actually jonesing a little for the snow.
