We have been traveling the last few weeks very slowly towards California where we are now. I am currently in Calipatria CA just south of the Salton Sea. Its is very hot outside! Hotter than it was in Tucson this time last year.
Copper recycling from old TVs, stero's and other places in junk or at shooting ranges. My friend Paul makes part of his yearly income from looking for aluminum, copper and brass (rifle shells) and then sells them yearly in El Centro CA. This last year he found 88 lbs of brass and 30 lbs of copper. made $208 from it. Not as much from can recycling at $17.50 for 10 lbs.
I will try to get online soon again and sort out my best shots of the country we past thru this last two and a half weeks.
