Just a couple of shots of the area near Brown County Indiana.  Mostly just a social event amongst: Mule, TrailMedic, Bonsai Hiker, and Hanger4life.

I hiked in early and came across this on the trail.

Timber Rattler.  Probably pretty common around some parts of the country but very rare (considered endangered) in Indiana.  I had never seen one before and was a little shocked by how big it was, more than 4' long and as big around as my wrist.  Suddenly I was soooo happy to be sleeping in a hammock that night.

It was a lazy weekend sitting around the fire and solving the world's problems.

The more time I spend in Indiana, the more I love it.

Wow, that is some snake!

Looks like fun hanging around the campfire.
