Finally getting out to the Cohutta!

I sure hope it doesn't rain next weekend. For the first time in a very long time I'm hoping to go backpacking. I haven't been since March I think when we were involved in that rescue. I need the break! Been going through a major house addition and all I do is work on the house.

This weekend will be my first time in the cohutta. Am planning to hike Conasauga to Panther Creek to Cowpen and on to Jacks River, and then back out. Anyone have any experience/good advice (other than info. about all the river crossings?)
