So after much planning and research I embarked on a thru hike of the Nipmuck Trail in Northeast CT. I was blessed with absolutely beautiful weather this weekend.
Typical Connecticut terrain, rocky, and lots of small stream/brook crossings.
Pixie Falls...well it wasn't really falling, but nice none the less.

Shortly after sunset the coyotes really startin howling, and juno joined in for awhile.

All in all it was an awesome trip, beautiful weather, good scenery. The trail is moderate to easy difficulty. I will be back this summer to do some fishing at Breakneck Pond, the fish were a'jumpin.
