Jan 21-23 Harriman State Park NY

Rambler- The pictures were great and the trip report bootstrap did was awesome...Juno looked like it was easy and had fun...Great report and it looked like an amazeing time out there snowshoeing..

Trips like this are always fun for me, not always perfect, but challenging and fun. I'm guessing Juno enjoyed it too?

it was definitely a challenging trip. it was my first full on winter trip with Juno, so it takes a little more work in winter with a dog. but we had a great time, and I am pretty sure she did too. the next winter trip should be a little smoother. One thing I did learn is that it can be a challenge to go down a steep icy descent with a dog on a leash while on snowshoes. I took one good faceplant in the snow, was a total head over heels fall into a drift haha. Can't wait for the next trip, gonna try and get out again the first weekend in march.
