5,629 feet. Not super prominent but fun. Made the annual snow slog to wake up the legs for the Summer. Glissaded about 1,000 vert feet down. I'll let the pictures do the talking:
Steep enough on the way up. Mushy snow since it was a 70 degree day there.

Walking in the winter avalanche chute

Cornice on the summit with dog tracks courtesy of Noel the wonder dog leading up to the edge. Kaleetan peak (pointy one) and Chair Peak in the distance. Kaleetan is on the list for this summer.

Kaleetan again from the summit

Glissading down the avalanche chute. Don't worry, its solid.

Forgot to mention that in the pictures Glacier peak is there to the right of the three pointed Chair Peak.

Its 2 hours from home and about a three mile hike but one gains over 3,500 feet doing it. Three or four weeks earlier and I'd have worried about avalanches a lot more.

Very cool, FS2S. I haven't ever been someplace where I could glissade, but I love good sledding, so I imagine I'd like it :)

Reminds me of being a kid. Man if only you had a GT snow racer up there! 3500 feet in 10 seconds, hahaha.
