Everything you need for a group outing. Easy to fine…

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $150 but a couple of years ago

Summary

Everything you need for a group outing. Easy to fine tune to your groups needs and everything has a place.

Pros

  • Easy to access all the panels
  • Day tripper bag easily removed
  • Field guide

Cons

  • Overall size of kit takes up a lot of room in back but worth the weight when needed

Numerous canyon or dive trips where aid has been needed and the group leader was ill-prepared for minor emergencies. They had plenty of basics but on several occasions have used the dental care kit, Sam Splint, emergency blanket.  I have added additional supplies for dive emergencies.

Easy to refill. Original kit has held up well with no construction issues, stitching has lasted multiple trips and exposure to Arizona sun.

If you get hurt when you are at home or in town, you grab a bandage, you go to the ER, or you call an ambulance'it's fairly simple. In the backcountry, there is no ER, and there is no ambulance to call. Your ability to stabilize an injury by yourself becomes crucial, and you must have the tools to do it. The Adventure Medical Comprehensive First Aid Kit gives you the tools to treat a wide range of medical issues that might arise while away from the comforts of civilization.
