Here's what other sites are saying:
From Backcountry.com:
"Ahnu added the unique QuickLite lacing system to the Men's Tamalpais II Shoe, so you can just pull and go instead of messing around with your footwear at the trailhead. An integrated TPU shank increases support for heavy loads and makes rocky trails feel smooth, but it still allows a natural stride for trail running. Ahnu used aggressive QuickLite outsoles to help you take on any terrain with the Tamalpais II Shoes."
From REI:
"Less shoe weight means less muscle fatigue; try these lightweight cross-trainers on your next light running, hiking or other multisport adventure. QuiteLight construction principles throughout the shoes center on superior comfort and materials with exceptional strength-to-weight ratios. At a mere 18 oz. for a pair of size 7 shoes, these cross-trainers are significantly lighter than most others. Hydrophobic, fast-drying nylon mesh uppers are highly breathable; minimal synthetic leather and polyurethane overlays offer structure and support. Single-pull QuiteLight lace system uses light but strong webbing to disperse load and alleviate pressure often found with conventional laces. Webbing lace wraps around heels to lock feet in place and secures with an Ahnumatic positive-lock cam buckle for unique single-handed adjustability. CoolMax linings in heels wick moisture, dry quickly and breathe well, letting you enjoy the benefits of cool, dry feet. D3 footbeds have Ortholite polyurethane foam for slow-reaction cushioning and dual-density EVA for shock dispersion and rear foot stability. Footbeds are then topped with ETC material to reduce friction and limit heat generation. Lightweight, compression-molded EVA midsoles provide shock absorption and cushioning comfort. Outsole-integrated thermoplastic urethane shanks and arch supports offer midfoot stability and torsional rigidity. Nonmarking rubber outsoles with cross-directional lug pattern optimize traction in the forefeet and braking in the rear. Nonmarking rubber outsoles have self-cleaning 3.5mm outsole lugs, providing sturdy support and traction."
