User Review: Ajungilak Goose Bay

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: Mummy
Fill: good quality down
Temperature Rating: -15ish C
Weight: 1300g
Price Paid: £189, but £149 on sale

A great light weight, no frills down bag. Slept comfortably (naked!) alone in a 3 man tent at -10 C whilst testing how warm it really was, and had no problems. Get another couple of guys in the tent with you, and some clothes on and I'm sure -15 C would be comfortable (just - I wouldn't want it to get any colder). Warmer than the Vango Q7 350 it replaced and 750g lighter.

minus points? No waterproof outer (but I knew that, and it's fairly water resistant if you're not stupid about it). No compression sack. !!!. Why not???? Even their cheapest bags come with one, but on on of their top of the range bags this is absurd.

In summary: A great bag which is almost identical in performance to my mates Mountain Equip Classic 750, to give you an idea at the same kind of price range. But get a compression sac!!
