Excellent mummy bag. Period.
I am using this bag while camping here in Ohio's Wayne National Forest. I used the 20 degree version of the Alpine Lake down to it's 20 degree limit. I was warm and comfortable. The hood cinches down well and along with the chest and zipper baffles, cold air is kept at bay. One can rest assured of a warm night of sleep in this bag. I know this from personal experience.
I would recommend the ALPS Mountaineering Alpine Lake bag. It cost a fraction of the cost as those BIG name trendy brands (Sierra Designs and Marmot come to mind). It performs as well if not better than those sinful brands. Unless one is more concerned about image like some folks in the backpacking world.
