From Backcountry.com:
"If you're just going to be car camping, why not treat yourself to some luxury? The ALPS Mountaineering Comfort Series Air Pad takes comfort to a whole new level. This extra-large sleeping pad features two valves and Jet Stream Wave Foam for fast, effortless inflation. Just open the valves and let it sit; a few puffs of air are all that's needed to finish the job. ALPS Mountaineering equipped the Comfort Series with a thick pillow area and a suede-like brushed top for comfort, and added PVC dots on the bottom to prevent slipping on your tent floor."

From REI:
"Experience the ultimate in car-camping luxury when you bed down for the night on this Alps Comfort Air sleeping pad! Plush, 4-in. thick polyurethane open cell foam provides ample cushion; greatly extended width and length provides an expansive surface area. Self-inflating—simply open valve and roll out pad; it can be topped off with a few short breaths if desired. Pad top has sueded texture to offer comfort and reduce slippage; bottom of pad features anti-slip PVC dot pattern. 2 noncorrosive brass valves increase inflation/deflation time and seal tight to prevent leaks. Features a thick pillow area for head support. Stuff sack and repair kit included. Special buy."

"Our family bought 4 of the 2"-thick Comfort Series Long size (25x77x2). Two of them do overlap a little in a 2-man tent, but my wife said she has never slept so well on a camping trip. The extra length was great for our 2 sons, both over 6'2".

We used them for a 3-night/4-day kayak trip at Desolation Sound, BC, Canada."

"The 5 stars is for CAR camping only. This thing weighs like 10 lbs! It is very, very comfortable and warm. Pitched my tent on snow and didn't feel the cold at all. Have been on several trips where others used those thin backpacking pads and all were complaining about the rocky ground while I had a great nights sleep."
