These skis are the new Norwegian army skis and, for the winter 2007 price of $550, are NOT surplus, used skis. They are new, light and mil. spec. strong...and all WHITE (natch).
I already owned some Atomic TM 22 Tele skis -- great for downhill tele skiing but they were so fat and had so much sidecut they wouldn't track straight on the flats in new snow when striding. So, I got the Combi Combat skis and they are great.
Steel edges, 210 cm. long w/ a tail notch and 1/4" tip grommet hole for attatching climbing skins. My bindings are the same as my Atomic TM 22's, namely Voile' RELEASABLE plates W/ heavy Voile' 3-pin bindings B/C I respect my knees, leg bones and ankles.
