I purchased this shoe to go backpacking 120 miles on the A.T. Needless to say I didn't adequately break them. I hiked 5 miles with a fully loaded back and called it good to go, my feet felt great. I received a great deal of blisters along the trail, which I was okay with, after all it was my fault for not taking the time to break them in.

However they did not hold up. The toe protector in the front came unglued within the first 30 miles, and both are now unglued. The material has separated from the soles. The plastic "supports" on the heel cracked an broke. The material has also cracked and appears to be disintegrating. They were waterproof, but no longer keep my toes dry.

I'm glad I got them off eBay for $40 (brand new) and didn't spend the suggested retail on them.
