This is great stuff for a powdered milk. I was surprised at the yield, more than I was expecting and since we typically prefer no/low fat milk, I added more water for a slightly thinner consistency. I also added a couple drops of vanilla which improves the flavor. It has a nice smooth texture and is white in colour.

Served ice cold this is a very doable powdered milk in coffee, tea and on cereal. If you're not familiar with the taste of powdered milk, wouldn't hurt to mix up a batch, keep it in the fridge and introduce yourself to it before heading out on the trail. Just wish they offered it in #10 cans for food storage.
