Banana Equipment

Banana Equipment was founded by Jim Heiden and Nancy Grimes in 1972 in Estes Park, CO.  The company was the first wholesaler of Gore-Tex fabric clothing in the world.  Jim Heiden sold Banana Equipment in the early 1980s to pursue other interests and then in 2003 he started Teko outdoor performance socks.
