Large family camping tent, two vestibules, double entrance, plenty of storage.
- Large size
- Plenty of storage
- Easy setup and take down
- Two entrances
- Carry/ storage bag well designed
- Weight (but for its size not too bad)
1st, this baby is huge!! The extended vestibule is 110 sq ft alone. When we got it in the mail we set it up in about 15 mins. We could get two bikes, a couple of chairs, and our camp stove under cover easily. The rear vestibule is perfect for a large cooler. The interior is spacious and tall. I am 5FT 11IN tall and could stand up inside.
There are four ample sized stash bags along each side of the tent as well. Break down was quick and easy and everything stores in a bag that has a mesh pocket for stakes, attached sleeve for poles and and a space on either side for the tent and rain-fly. The whole thing folds together like a garment bag for easy storage and carrying.
Have not been out in the field with it yet, just set it up in the yard for a test run. It was hot when we set it up, but with the vestibules open and mesh screens on the doors we had plenty of breeze.
This tent is on sale at REI for 50% off retail and if you are a member you can take another 20% off for a total of 70% off retail. What a deal!!
Loaned the tent to my neighbor to camp in New Braunfels this past spring. According to them this tent was the only tent to successfully survive a two day downpour dry and intact.
