Bought this for the wife but I still sneak out from…

Rating: rated 4.5 of 5 stars
Design: rectangular
Fill: down
Temperature Rating: 0
Price Paid: $175

Bought this for the wife but I still sneak out from time to time and give it a spin on my own. I've used this bag about three times. Temperature rating is pretty close I think. I've had it -10 but I was cold. In the bags defense the temp was below its rated temp that night and I was using a 3-season Big Agnes mat on the bottom.

Very comfortable. The design is a good one. You just slide your mat into the sleeve on the bottom and you can never roll off. 4.5 instead of 5 because the zipper tends to snag a little more than I would like and the stuff sack does not have compression straps.

Here's what other sites are saying:

As far as sleeping bags go, 3. 25 pounds is really light. When you're talking about a bag that will keep you warm in the dead of winter, however, 3. 25 pounds is ridiculous. On top of the warmth, the Storm King 0-degree Sleeping Bag has a roomy rectangular design and can even be zipped together with another rectangular bag. The main reason for this ultra-light weight is the fact that Big Agnes eliminated the unnecessary insulation from the bottom of the bag. When you're sleeping on top of insulation, it doesn't keep you warm because it has no loft and therefore no air istrapped inside to keep you warm. Instead, Big Agnes put a Sleeping Pad Pocket in its place, so you have the trapped air in the sleeping pad keeping you warm and at the same time you can't roll off the sleeping pad.

Flow Construction eliminates lateral and vertical down shifting by using vertical chambers with Flow Gates to regulate fill positioning and density. Strategically placed Flow Gates minimize vertical down shifting while vertical chambers minimize lateral shifting. With continuous vertical Flow chambers in place of traditional side seams, Flow bags eliminate potential cold spots which can occur with side seams. Vertical baffles now flow with your body for more rapid and uniform body heat distribution. LEFT OR RIGHT ZIPPER? The Storm King is Big Agnes' warmer version of the Lost Ranger. If you are a cold sleeper or spend more time camping when your dog's water bowl is frozen and the crowds are long gone, this is the bag for you. The Storm King uses a 20" rectangular pad pad in either long or regular depending on the bag you choose. The DownTek down insulation keeps you warm, even if your bag gets wet, by repelling the water on a microscopic level.
