Brunton Widemouth Beverage Flask

I purchased 2 0.6L and 2 1.0L Brunton Widemouth aluminum beverage containers and when they arrived, I was initially impressed with their appearance. The outside finish is well applied and the inner liner appeared uniform, as far as I could see into the bottle.

The liner does roll over the lip of the aluminum rim of the opening, before the threaded collar starts, however, and in this area, aluminum is visible in spots and the liner is very thin. I also get a metallic taste when I drink from them.

I'm sending these back and will try to find SIGG bottles. They may be twice the price of these, but the build quality is far superior and there are various tops available that would make them more versatile and user friendly.
