I like the Camelbak brand mainly for its great and easy to use lifetime warranty they have on their products. The reason why I'm only giving this 3.5 stars is because my Camelbak insulated water bottle has broken two times already.

Pros

  • Lifetime warranty
  • Insulated

Cons

  • Insulated part broke off

My wife and I got the Camelbak water bottle because we loved that it has a lifetime warranty on it. My wife used it for a long time until a hinge on the lid broke. We forgot about the warranty on it, so she bought another bottle, and when we finally remembered the warranty, she was used to her new one, so I got to use it.

The warranty process was really easy. You just go to their website and tell them what's wrong, take a picture or two of the defect, and fill in some information about it. They had a new lid to us in about three days. I was very impressed with how easy it was and how fast it got to us.

The downfall to this is that I think only the top and straw are covered under the warranty. My insulated outer layer broke off of the water bottle, and I tried to go online to submit a claim, but there wasn't a selection to click for the bottom half of that bottle. As a fix, I simply super-glued it back together.

This water bottle holds 24 oz of water, and I drink about 3 of them a day, so it gets a ton of use. When our family goes hiking, this is usually the water bottle that I bring. Other than the items discussed above, the water bottle seems to work as it is intended to work.

I created a video of all of the water bottles that our family uses when we go hiking. If you want to get a better idea of what I'm talking about, and/or if you want to see what other water bottles we use, check out this video:
