The CamelBak Podium Ice Bottle is an insulated water bottle designed for bikes. I have used mine on bike rides as well as hiking.

The Podium Ice has a BPA free polypropylene inner bottle insulated on the outside with Zeroloft, and a tough outer shell with a molded grip.
bottles-podium-ice-frost-black-2010-72-jThe bottle fits my hand well and is soft enough to provide a good grip, better than the slick metal bottles I have tried, although the Podium Ice is a little heavier. The bottle cap is great also, it works by twisting the Jet Valve left to open, and right to close, you can also open the valve partially to reduce flow if needed.

To drink you open the valve to the desired position, turn upright and squeeze. You will see why the valve is called a Jet Valve, it has excellent flow and makes getting a drink fast and easy. The valve also has little wings for your thumb and forefinger making it easy to operate.

When you are done drinking and need to store the bottle back in the bottle holder or backpack, the cap has a positive lockout feature. Simply turn the cap to the right until you feel the positive stop. You can now turn the bottle upside down and squeeze it firmly, no leaks!

The Podium Ice will keep cold fluids cold, and hot ones hot. I have used mine with water, sports drinks, and hot chocolate.

The one I have is Frost / Blue in color, they also offer Frost / Black and Frost / White.
