Here's what other sites are saying:
No matter your environment or activity, wild winds and frigid temperatures can slice through pants to freeze the skin on your legs in moments. In these extreme cold-weather conditions, the insulated Tundra Down Pant is the ideal partner for your Canada Goose parka.
Unless you're a penguin or a polar bear, being cold is not fun. For those of you who are not native to the Arctic Ocean, the Canada Goose Women's Tundra Down Pant will protect you from bitterly cold winds and frigid temperatures. The Arctic-Tech shell, water-repellent nylon lining, and high-quality 625-fill power down make the Tundra your go-to pant when the mercury plunges below zero. The Arctic-Tech shell is made from a blend of polyester and cotton for long-lasting protection from winds that can freeze skin in a matter of seconds. Treated with DWR, the shell will repel a light drizzle or dusting of snow. While the shell stops the wind, it's the 625-fill power down insulation that envelopes your legs in warmth to forestall frostbite, even on days when the sun is out but the air shimmers wildly with frozen condensation. Down feathers are made of lots of little barbs which trap air to create lots of little air pockets. These little air pockets are like roadblocks that prevent your body heat from taking the easy way out so you stay warmer, longer. Down is lightweight and packable, but once it's wet, it quickly loses its ability to trap air and insulate. Winter expeditions may not involve trekking through blizzards, but they often mean slogging through snow. Internal gaiters with snap closures prevent snow and ice from creeping into your boots, and the adjustable waistband lets you eliminate another possible entry route for unwelcomed winter guests. Reinforcements at the knee and seat mean this Tundra will last through several season of ice-fishing, and you won't suffer from cold-induced knocking knees or a trembling tush.
