I have been using this backpack for the past 5 years and have been completely satisfied with it. I've hiked in Alaska and the Canadian Rockies on several multi-day trips with no problems at all. The pack is extremely comfortable and has multiple adjustments and supports to make it fit just right. Twenty+ kilometre days are no problem. Easily carries gear for 5 days with room to spare. Only complaint was that the attached raincover was not big enough to adequately cover the pack when loaded, so had to buy a bigger raincover.

A multi-feature pack for multi-day hikes, the The Cerro Torre Gecko 80 is a sweet pack for the person planning a five-day trip on a one-night budget. Gecko's anatomic shoulder straps adjust easily (and separately) for varying torso lengths, making the pack suitable for more than one user. Side mesh pockets are great for smaller items such as a water bottles (sold separately), energy bars, compass or GPS unit. A pair of backcountry or alpine skis strap on easily with the side panel ski loops. Internal compartment holds hydration reservoir (sold separately) for hands-free drinking on the trail. Large main compartment is accessible through the drawer-string top or more conveniently via full-length, heavy-duty zippers on each side. The Gecko features a separate sleeping bag compartment with zip entry below the main compartment; stores your bag without need of a stuff sack. A-slanted hipbelt conforms to the hip and helps transfer the loads onto your skeleton; also flexes to stabilize the pack as you walk. The front pocket is an organizer for pens, keys, maps; large enough for a notebook. Multi-flex foam/spandex back panel wicks away moisture; centerline panel promotes ventilation. The concave panel at the top of the pack fits the back of the head, taking pressure off your neck as you walk. Two daisy chains provide exterior storage for light items; dual compression straps on each side stabilize the total load. Overstock.
