Four years ago my girlfriend started working at a summer camp in North Georgia. She was told by many that in order to survive the summer being outdoors all day and being near a lake getting wet, Chacos were gonna become her best friend. After checking reviews on Trailspace I bought my girlfriend a pair of Chacos.

They were the perfect ones for her. They had a brown sole and pink cherry blossoms on the straps. She wore them everyday for two summers straight at that summer camp. We bonded over scrubbing the mud off them several times during those summers where they came out clean as new.

Now as she is starting her third year of college she still wears those same cherry blossom strapped Chacos. She says they are perfect for walking around her college campus and just slipping on for class. Thank you, Chaco for making a product that my girlfriend loved and could use so often. And thank you, Trailspace for recommending them to me.

Pros

  • Easy to slip on
  • Easy to wash
  • Easy to adjust

These are the most comfortable shoes I've owned. They take about 10 miles before they mold to your feet, but once they do, you'll love them forever. Plus you can't beat their amazing customer service were anything to happen to your new found amazing shoes.

Pros

  • Comfort
  • Durability
  • Customer service

Cons

  • Color options

I got these for my birthday, I love to hike and my husband bought them for me. I fell in love...after wearing them about 10 miles in.

At first I hated them. They didn't fit right. They kept slipping. It was one problem after another. I truly thought the Chaco love was a hoax and that it was just a fad. Wrote Chaco and they advised to go back to the store for a proper fitting since they were purchased for me, so I did just that.

Turned out I had a size too large and once I was properly fitted the obsession began. Around 10 miles is when it happens. They go straight from awkward to wow, how can I wear these to work everyday?

After two weeks, I came home to one of them missing out of my bedroom only to discover that dogs love Chacos too. Sent in my shoes to Chaco repair (since they have awesome lifetime warranty) and had those suckers repaired. Repairs were done promptly and they fit just as I sent them. You won't regret your purchase.

My Chacos have been my most reliable sidekick of every adventure that I go on. They have gotten me out of many slipper situations (literally) hundreds of times. On top of being reliable, they are super comfortable and durable. I love my Chacos. They are my little piece of home no matter where I go in the world.

Pros

  • Durable grip soles
  • Customizable straps
  • Comfortable footbed

Cons

  • None

Hiking, kayaking, yard work, pool cleaning, and pottery—this is what my Chacos have seen in the last three years and they are still going. I want them to wear out so I can get a new pair, but they just keep going. You won't be dissatisfied by these sandals; they play hard.

I have hiked and kayaked on all kinds of terrains and rivers in Texas and these sandals are comfortable and durable. The single strap is easily adjusted for a perfect fit and even hiking over rugged desert environments and dragging a kayak upstream over rocky waterfalls, these sandals hold the ground.

These are the BEST outdoor and all around shoes on the market! They are so comfortable and they can handle any and all conditions.

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Washable
  • Sturdy

I have had mine forever and don't wear any other shoes now. Make sure to try on some Chacos to get your correct size before buying some online ;)

Seriously though, these are and will always be my favorite shoes. They are hard to break in, but once they are broken in there is nothing you can not do in them.
