Summary

Great value, great performance, surprisingly durable.

Pros

  • Price
  • Lightweight for the size and price
  • Dual vestibule and doors
  • Scandium poles

Cons

  • Tell you when I find one

For the price this 4-season tent has been great. Reasonably light and scandium poles rather than the usual fiberglass that come with budget 4-seasons was an added bonus. Huge interior pocket, front and back doors and vestibules, and a surprisingly durable floor and rain fly.

Has kept me warm and dry in some of the worst weather. I can't recommend this tent enough. Bonus if you can find one for under $160 like I did.

The Helios series tent features a more robust pole structure built to hold heavier snow loads, the coating is a waterproof silicone that won't crack in freezing temperatures, and all of the interior mesh can be zipped close to help heat retention all of this, plus a pole/clip structure for a quick setup when the weather outside isn't so pleasant.
