Columbia Black Rock
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $50
These are the best hiking shoes I have ever had. I can't find any other low-cut hiking boots that come close and now I see they have been discontinued!
Why did Columbia discontinue these shoes and does anyone know what Columbia considers to be the replacement for the Black Rock?
Materials: Non-leather (yayyyy!)
Use: Everyday, all day.
Break-in Period: None, for me anyway, they wear well straight out of the box.
Weight: Don't know, but no heavier than other shoes in the cateory.
Price Paid: $75
I love these shoes. Only problem is they've discontinued them. They were going to be my "forever" shoe, if they kept making them I would have worn them forever. I still look on eBay and other places and have been lucky enough to find one pair since they stopped making them. ANYBODY GOT A PAIR OF MEN'S SIZE 14??? Help!
Use: dayhikes and daily wear
Break-in Period: day or two
Price Paid: $40
A great shoe for hiking or general wear, especially if you have a narrow foot. Good grip when new. Wears well. Now I can't find it anywhere and I want more. UUUGGHHH!!!!
