The body of a canvas sneaker with the spirit of a boat shoe, the Blackfin is unlike any other water footwear on the market. When our designers traveled to Florida to check out the open water fishing scene, they were surprised to find many people rocking traditional canvas sneakers. The kicks looked cool, but when push came to shove, they couldn’t deliver on performance. Cue the Blackfin. This ain’t your mama’s canvas. Omni-Sheild technology means it repels dirt and resists water and the molded Techlite heel cup mimics the same technology used in swim fins, for a super-snug and comfortable fit. The upper is sewn directly to the midsole, eliminating the need for a messy, water-absorbing insole. Drainage ports in the outsole move water away from the foot while the razor siped diamond tread pattern provides top-notch traction on wet and dry surfaces alike. Bottom line? Waterside footwear just got a high-performing makeover.
