Summary

Great shoe.

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Breathable
  • Water draining

Cons

  • Not very warm

Very comfortable shoe from the beginning.  I bought this shoe to use while fishing, didn't want my feet staying wet all day and had no need for waders. So far it has done the job extremely well. Regularly wear this shoe during everyday activities and is one of my all-time favorites.

If the Columbia Men's Drainmaker Shoe were any more water-friendly, it would sprout fins and swim away (like that one that got away did). This lightweight hybrid shoe, which offers the comfort of a running shoe, features an Omni-Grip Wet Grip rubber outsole that's sure-footed on slick stream bottoms. When you wade out of the water, built-in drainage ports in the midsole allow water to instantly escape, and the open cell sandwich mesh upper dries quickly. A Techlite heel adds support, while the TPU toe cap protects your toes from stubbing.
