The shoe is very good for a while. Then it starts to wear out and that is the one big problem with this shoe. The first few days you wear them they actually feel very comfortable and you can walk in them quite good distance and your feet will feel well cushioned.

After about a month that starts to change as the inside cushioning starts to compress and does not spring back. You will quickly find that they are no better or worse than an average pair of shoes at this time.

If you wear them on soft walking trails the soles will last, if you wear them on rocky areas that will not be the case. The soles are soft enough that they wear quickly on hard surfaces... that isn't a real issue because the shoe inside will have long since died.

Although I have had two pairs of them (when I first found them I bought two pairs because they felt so good, didn't know they wouldn't last)... I can attest that in both pairs after wearing less than 3 weeks the lining inside had significant breakdown around the heal area. No other shoe or boot I have had ever broke down that quickly.

If you see them somewhere on closeout for less than 30 they would be worth it... for anything more than that skip it and get something better. They just aren't that good for the money.
