Summary
Comfortable and indestructible hikers, highly recommended.
Pros
- Comfortable
- Super durable
- Attractive
- Good traction
Cons
- None
Had a pair of these about a decade ago and wore them constantly for years until the soles were shot — uppers still looked great.
Haven't seen them in ages but came across them the other day at Dick's, bought a pair immediately. They have apparently been discontinued for a long time but somehow this one retailer has them at the moment.
They are comfortable out of the box, virtually indestructible, great traction, beefy soles, and are handsome and understated. Suitable for hiking, casual wear, work duty, etc. Not the lightest hikers out there but any weight issues are outweighed by the durability.
I have owned many Columbia hikers over the years, and these rank near the top. Excited to find another pair of them, I know from experience they'll literally last for years. Recommended if you can find them.
