Summary
Nice base layer shirt or cool weather active wear, very comfortable and quick drying.
Pros
- Comfortable
- Quick drying
- Versatile styling
Cons
- None
The Ultra Stop Crew is a great technical shirt that can also stand on its own for casual wear. The material is pretty light but warm for its weight and substantial enough to make it a good base layer for colder weather.
I've used this for cold weather running and it is very comfortable, and it feels great next to the skin as a base layer. Though technically proficient, it's also understated and handsome and looks great when worn alone.
The Ultra-Stop is really quick-drying and wicks moisture well — take it off after a run and what moisture it does hold is dry in no time. The thumb cuffs are a nice touch for use in cold temps. The cut isn't athletic so it's not super tight, but it's also not oversized or baggy either-middle of the road fit.
All in all a worthy technical top that works well as casual wear too.
