Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Materials: Leather mostly
Use: i used it for long day hikes (15miles) and overnights, plus winter hiking
Break-in Period: less than a week
Weight: around 2lbs. each shoe
Price Paid: $105

First Dolomites I've ever owned and I love them. They are Gore-Tex and I can walk through a stream right up to the top of the shoe and my feet are as dry as can be. These models don't go up past the ankle because I didn't want that, but they do have models which cover the ankle. My father owns that pair and he loves them. When Dolomite says they are waterproof, they mean business. I've had these for 2 years and they are still like new. I recommend Dolomite's for anyone who wants comfortable, waterproof shoes.
