They aggressive Dynafit ZZero4 U-TF randonee boots are designed for downhill-oriented skiers who want top performance on the descent and the ability to tour into the mountains. Polyurethane shells with Pebax(R) plastic tongues provide top downhill performance, yet are suitable for backcountry tours. Pebax plastic tongues maintain a consistent flex in all temperatures so your boots won't feel extra stiff on a frigid day. Rislan power stringers run up the sides of the boots to increase rigidity and support for excellent downhill performance. Lightweight thermoformable liners feature durable interior and exterior fabric to resist wear; collars are shaped for comfort around the calf muscles. See an REI ski shop professional to have the liners custom molded to your feet to maximize comfort and performance. The ski/walk mechanisms are easy to activate; they can be set for 2 ski positions (15deg and 21deg) as well as loosened for walking. Four magnesium buckles and a power strap on each boot close the boots comfortably and securely around your feet and legs. Self-guiding notches located at the Dynafit inserts at the toes of the boots ease stepping into Dynafit bindings. Dynafit ZZero4 U-TF randonee boots have lugged soles that grip well on snow, rock and dirt.
