A small company in Montana, Epperson is truly a throwback with this basic backpack. First of all, unless other packs I've owned were larger than advertised, this was way smaller than advertised. I bought two accessory holders for the sides and with all that, I still had to stuff every inch for a four-day backpack rock climbing exp. The pads and construction are solid, being sewn with care. The top compartment is small and I had a hard time lashing my pad.

Overall, it's a nice pack but pretty limited for expeditions
