I have used Keltys, TNF, Marmot and many other "high end" tents on varius trips, my favorite is still the Apex XT though. It is rated as a 3 1/2 season tent, but I have used it in the dead of winter on the top of Adirondack mountains and never once had a problem. It is about as waterproof as a tent can get, sheds wind and snow amazingly well and takes abuse without a problem. If you don't want to spend 1,000 bucks for TNF expidition tents, this is the way to go.
