Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Materials: lined synthetic
Use: tecnical face climbing and steep climbing
Break-in Period: 1 week

One of the best velcro shoes out there and reasonably comfy too. Low volume. Presice toe and a light feel to them. Great heel.

Good for narrow feet and narrow to medium heels. Fit them tight and they will stretch almost like a lined leather shoe. They don't do so well if you fit them comfortably out of the box. Anticipate stretch when you fit them.

If the liner starts to get baggy after hard use you can trim it out of the toe box and the shoe will feel new again. Just snip a hole in the lining ahead of the strap stitching (be careful not to cut the shoe itself) and a pair of pliers or forceps will let you tear it right around the stitching. DO THAT AS A LAST RESORT.

Here's what other sites are saying:

Aggressive, adrenaline-pumping climbing on vertical to insanely overhanging terrain requires an aggressive and powerful shoe like the PREDATOR. The Predator's asymmetric down-turned toe design lets you front-point and pull on tiny crystals and toe-in on pockets with surgical precision. While sensitive enough to feel the crystals, the non-stretch synthetic leather will give you a load of edging power for more than vertical faces. This specialty shoe is one of our top selling performance shoes in Europe and it is an absolute necessity for overhanging routes, steep boulder problems and for dominating the competition.

- Altrec Outdoors

The Predator Climbing Shoe by Evolv is a European best seller that is lightweight, malleable, excellent fitting and has an aggressive turned down toe for steep climbing. Great for when you are climbing the walls of Red River or the roofs of Priests Draw with its aggressive toe you can front point and pull on tiny footholds and toe in on pockets with surgical precision. The upper does not stretch giving you a load of edging power for the faces of vertical faces.
