User Review: evolv Predator

evolv Predator
Above: The current Predator, which may differ slightly from the version reviewed.

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Materials: lined synthetic
Use: tecnical face climbing and steep climbing
Break-in Period: 1 week

One of the best velcro shoes out there and reasonably comfy too. Low volume. Presice toe and a light feel to them. Great heel.

Good for narrow feet and narrow to medium heels. Fit them tight and they will stretch almost like a lined leather shoe. They don't do so well if you fit them comfortably out of the box. Anticipate stretch when you fit them.

If the liner starts to get baggy after hard use you can trim it out of the toe box and the shoe will feel new again. Just snip a hole in the lining ahead of the strap stitching (be careful not to cut the shoe itself) and a pair of pliers or forceps will let you tear it right around the stitching. DO THAT AS A LAST RESORT.
