Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Use: anything you throw at them
Break-in Period: took a solid day hike
Price Paid: $70

Love the shoes. They stick to rocks without fail, wet or dry, and the edges are solid enough to be confident in those less than perfect holds. And they are plenty comfortable for a long hike in.

I've been pretty hard on these shoes for the better part of a year and you can hardly tell they've been worn.

Retailers' Descriptions

Here's what other sites are saying:

Mountain goats got nothin' on the Evolv Men's Stryker Approach Shoe. Climb right along with those furry horn-headed scramblers-a TRAX high friction rubber sole uses a toe edging platform to give you purchase on narrow lips and grippy traction on slippery rocks. The leather upper and gel insole of the Stryker Approach Shoe comfortably sustain you through long approaches. A rubber toe and heel rand offers grip when wedging your way up a chimney, and stub protection when navigating through a boulder field.

- Backcountry Outlet

Multiple days of aid climbing and some easy free climbing are all possibilities for the Stryker Approach shoe from Evolv that features sticky TRAX high-friction rubber and generous toe and heel rands. Support your foot with a high quality gel honeycomb insole and comfortable leather uppers while you scramble and guide, or as you hike to your route.
